File this under the 'so I remember it later' department. Tonight I was working on a large financial model and banging my head against the fact that all my old Excel keyboard shortcuts don't work on the Mac. So I dug around and pulled together the list of ones that I commonly use:
The Mac equivalent of CTRL + ALT + DEL (Control + Alt + Delete) is Command + Option + Escape. You can use those commands to force-quit frozen apps on the Mac. Picture of an Apple keyboard with the CMD + OPT + ESC keys circled. Control ⌃+Shift ⇧+Eject. Edit: Unfortunately, one of Apple's OS updates killed the above key combination for no good reason. So the only key combination available now is this less convenient one (if you have a Mac Mini or an iMac you have to press the physical Power button on the computer in addition to the other two keys in the keyboard). Use Ctrl + Shift + Delete on Windows or Command + Shift + Delete on Mac and the Edge browser will open a small window to clear data. Select the relevant option and hit the Clear button at the bottom.
